About Me [ Curriculum Vitae ]

Jacopo Cavazza was born in Novi Ligure (Italy) in 1990. He received his Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics in 2014, with a thesis on a semi-automatic pipeline for bone tissue segmentation in TC images via active-contour and Hough transform for algebraic curves.

Currently, he is a fellow PhD student at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia (iit), Pattern Analysis and Computer Vision (PAVIS) department under the supervision of Prof. Vittorio Murino.

In his scientific research, he applies mathematical modelling to crowd profiling for video surveillance and to action recognition for intention prediction tasks.
